Has there ever been anything tried to stop the blade from hitting the inside of the handle on closure? I have had this happen with my 560, leaving a small dent in the blade near the tip. I noticed that the blade stops against the lock, but if closed too quickly, will move the lock and strike the inside of the handle. I was playing with one of my spyderco's and saw that they had placed a small bar over the place where the unsharpened part of the blade(the tang?) connects with the lock when closed, preventing it from depressing further.
