Blade Swap Hogue Deka 20cv for Magnacut

Anybody know of any pitfalls, tips or tricks? I don't like the polymer scales on the MC, but I loved the G10 on the 20cv. Thanks.

I disliked those FRN scales that came with the V2 Deka also, but I just installed some aluminum ones from these guys and it absolutely changes the knife for the better.

bermo How does that texture work for you? Is it pretty grippy without shredding your pockets?

Texture works fine, definitely better than the stock scales.

No flex when you pinch them , they add a bit of weight which are both positives.

They have an XL version which adds 3/16” in length which I may have to try next, plus I got a back spacer coming too. I'll shoot you a pic when that comes in.

Got the backspacer today and I love this knife even more, the scales / backspacer improve the knife a lot.

Adds weight, adds grip, adds strength. Adds better.
