I have never taken a Sebenza apart, but I was wondering how difficult it would be to change out the blades on a couple that I own. I have a large Insingo and a large regular Diamond Plate. I would like to install the Insingo blade on the Diamond Plate frame. Any concerns??? THANKS.

The blades are matched to the lockbar during production. Therefore, no blades are exactly alike. Swapping blades could result in blade play. Some members have done it and reported no problems, but I wouldn't do it personally.

You really should take apart a Sebenza just to appreciate the quality. It's so simple and can be done very quickly once you don't a couple of times.

I say try it if you get blade play just put them back the way the originally came. There is no harm in trying it because you can always just put them back to original condition. The sebenza is probably the easiest production knife to reassemble. IMO

If you are unsure how to disassemble and reassemble, there are several youtube videos on how to do it. Just make sure you get the washers in correctly so the blade will be centered.

Thanks for the suggestions. I may just have to learn to appreciate them for different reasons. After all...., they are BOTH AWESOME!!!
