Just got my new orange hadled BladeTech M.L.E.K. yesterday from the big brown truck. For some goofey reason, I really like the orange color handle.
Hope you enjoy my lousy photography since I don't have proper lighting by my computer.

This knife came SCREAMING SHARP and is solid as a rock. I was thinking of getting a ZT but this knife will do me just fine.

Well, you can cut them up in little peieces now and they can't complain you snuck up on them unfairly! :D

Congratulations.....often overlooked but extremely well made and highly regarded are they ( forgive me...the grandkids made me sit through "Star Wars" again last night ! ). I hope you enjoy your new knife for a long time to come.....I do.

I'm with you muzzleup- orange G10 is the coolest. I just got an orange G10 russlock and I'm really digging the handle material. My wife likes it too (and she usually simply snorts derisively when I show her a new sharp & shiny) There's something about bright handles that make any knife look friendly. I have a bright orange rescue and the orange/ silver color scheme works well on that, too. Only thing is that it really stands out when clipped in your pocket. I'd say I'd like a Manix with orange G10- but it would just scream out of my pocket: "KNIFE HERE!"

I was looking at an ad for Bladetech just yesterday, but I've never heard much about them. I'm glad you like yours! Doesn't Tim Wegner design for them?

The thing I dig about orange colored handles is how it is a snap to find the knife when you drop it in the woods.

Cheers,

I've been appreciating the style of those knives lately more and more. That is a handsome blade , a bit Halloweenish but hey , I'd carry it proudly :)
Question , how much did that set you back ?
Also did it come with a clip , and if so are you going to mount it or go nekked ?

The knife set me back the full MSRP plus the shipping.
Yes it does have a clip. Mine came with it mounted for tip-down which is just what I wanted. The clip can be mounted for either tip-up or tip-down. It even comes with a tube of vibratite to lock the screws when you have the clip mounted to your requirements.
I am now carrying it as ONE OF my EDC knives clipped to my front pocket but I have also ordered a carrying case form Blade Tech (horizontal or verticle carry) in case I want to just wear it on my belt (horizontal for me).

I got myself the Pro-hunter...BECAUSE it was available in orange.
Black colored knives get "lost" in my workshop!
