Does anyone know anything about or have any experience with a Blade Tech Mouse Lite knife or Blade Tech knives in general?

I don't have any Blade Tech knives, but the reviews I have read here from owners about the Mouse Lite and Blade Tech knives overall have all been positive.

Yes. I have a few BladeTech knives, including the Mouse Lite. BladeTech knives, in my opinion, rival Spyderco in terms of fit, finish, and reliabilty (this means I think they're great;))! I only wish they were more easily found/available. The Mouse Lite is a great, sturdy little folder and is well worth the meager price they ask!

I have the Purple mouse and it is a pretty nice little knife .It is a bit hard to open because the backspring is very stiff but I have no complaints ,quality is great and edge holding is good too.

I recently posted on my new Bladetech Ratel, similar to a Mouse Lite in size but with a clip point blade instead of skinning blade like the Mouse.

As I mentioned in my post, the Ratels are new for 2009. New Graham hasthem for about $23 including shipping. You can also get them directly from Blade-Tech, for about $24-27 including shipping (depending how many you order). I'm very pleased.

Honestly I've been thinking of getting a Mouse but was unsure how wide the handle was and if it would make a good keychain knife.I presently have a Ladybug attached to my keys.

Thanks for all the feed back. Where are these made?

Mine says Taiwan on the back of the blade tang.

I wouldn't call it a keychain knife myself, but I suppose it would be possible. Here are a couple of comparison shots.

The Mouse is a lot more bulk for a little more cutting edge. On the plus side, it is a lot easier for me to hold than the Ladybug.

Thanks for the pics, the mouse is definitely has a wider handle than the ladybug by double;looks like it's around a little more than an inch wide. With the ladybug,I do find it's a bit small but it's never bothered me and I can see how people with large hands may say it's small. For me,I'm going to get a mouse and see how it is a keychain knife. For a knife which can be found for under $20 online, is not much when compared to the cost of the ladybug
