I just joined bladeforums (today) and am having some issues with the search function. My question is does anyone have experience with the Pro Hunter by Blade Tech? If so, what is your opinion of the knife? I did see a couple of reviews when i googled it. All seemed positive.

I'll use the knife for general daily carry and as a field knife while hunting and guiding in the Adirondacks of N.Y.

Thanks,

Frank Shaw

Welcome to Bladeforums! :)

On our BladeForums.com Service and Support forum, read this Sticky: Search Engine FAQs & Tips by Quiet Storm.

The search engine works fine, but it takes some tweaking to get really good results.

Funny that you should ask....

I have never handled a Wegner Pro-Hunter, but I did just recently buy a Spyderco Wegner from a fellow forum member (thanks again TonyG) and it appears very similar in design to the Pro-Hunter (Duh!).
So, if the Pro-Hunter is anything like the Spyderco version then it is fantastic!
It's very comfortable and is a terrific slicer (from the modest amount of slicing that I have done so far).

Good luck,
Allen.

Frank,

I really like both of mine. Very well built, excellent materials, good design for my purposes, that is, hunting and utility.
