I am thinking about getting a blade-tech Rijbak to replace my Lone Wolf Harcey T2 Range as an EDC. The problem with the Lone Wolf is this: when closed there is a large space between the blade and the liner. Pennies, nickles and dimes get stuck in this space and the knife jams and will not open. This is my work knife and I need consistent one-hand opening capability.

1) On the Rijbak is there a big space between the blade and liner that pennies and nickles can get wedged in?

2) Is the Rijbak easy to open with one hand?

I just got mine a couple weeks ago and I really like it. It has excellent fit&finish, great lockup, and I don't think any coin could get wedged, but I don't know for sure as I carry mine via the pocket clip in my right hand pocket and NOTHING else goes into that pocket. It does ride well in the pocket, and I've found the blade easy to open with the tear drop hole that Blade-Tech uses. If I had it to do over I would still buy the Rijbak!

Rijbak is a pretty fair one hand knife but it is a little tight compared to say my BM Dejavoo. Which has a blade you can "shake" out with ease.
I'd say coins wouldn't get stuck very easy in between its frame lock as there's no room for them as well as it's a tip down carry so that part is up high. One thing I like about the clip on this is it's not only deep carry but titanium and doesn't mar or scratch like the black coated clips will.
I'd never carry mine with anything else at all in my pocket because i wouldn't want to chance rubbing it, but if you do I am pretty certain it's gonna be a lot more resistant to coins sticking in it's handle anywhere than the LW. There's just not a lot of extra room in it's 1/2" thick (g-10 to g-10) handle for it when closed. I think you will like this Blade Tech as it's well made and locks up very tightly.
