I read the above link.
The Karambit I purchased is a Fox U.S.A. FX-'599', other than utilizing the patented Wave feature, it's nothing like an original standard Fox Karambit, not like an aluminum handled Karambit nor is it like the standard Emerson Karambit.
The blade is smaller and lighter, the ring was redesigned/re-sized and for me it's ergonomically superb, unless the OP has a hand the size of a catchers mitt.
If you're able to find 1 negative owner/user review of the
599, please show it to me.
Re: Fox knives, my experience has be very positive, I own a Combative Edge SALUS made by Fox which is superb, with Böhler N690Co steel.
