Blade: The series on the Spike channel

Anyone watching this show?

The guy playing Blade isn't Wesley Snipes, but I've gotten used to him. The story lines have got me hooked though. These are the comments I posted on another board after Wednesday episode.

Spoilers below, if ya missed it and don't want to know...














Krista turned her mother!

I could see it coming but I thought Chase would interupt her. Not the auditor chick.

I loved the flashback into Blade's (Eric's) history. They got the hair, the clothes and even tha ABA basketball right. The blood on the other hand... This show definately earns it's R rating.

Eric's father still being alive. Damn! Didn't see that coming! I didn't like that he stuck Blade's sword THROUGH Blade to kill the other guy. But I guess that gave the writer's a way to give Blade and his father a chance to talk.

I was also shocked at the "snack" the pure-blood (the girl that looks like she's 12) wanted. Damn, that was COLD!:mad:

I'm loving this show. Next week, Chase visit's the stip club!:D
 
I watched the first episode and part of another. Just don't have the bite, muhahahahahaha, that the flicks had.
 
For me, the 2 hour pilot was actually PAINFULL to watch it was so bad, but I kept with it and the weekly episodes have improved a great deal and last weeks episode where we saw the first meeting of Blade and Whistler was cool.

I'm liking it more than I thought I would.
 
I had the same experience as Last Confederate; the pilot was so dreadful I immediately gave up. Maybe it got better.

Same problem with me. I found there were better shows on at 10 than blade.:p
