Howdy everyone,
I've had a Buck Knighthawk Tanto model 653 now for a few months.
As I am used to measure solely in metric, I can't seem to figure out how thick the blade is in inches(I have an old inaccurate ruler).
And people have given me different measurments for this knife like 3/16" and 9/40". The 3/16 really doesn't sound like it could be true though.
The reason why I want to know the thickness in inches is because I would like to compare with other knives.
Can anyone help?
Much abliged,
Emanuel
P.s. The Knighthawk has got to be the single most underrated knife on the market. It's extremely well-priced, even in my country, and it can out perform most others easily. No wonder it was Buck's entry into the SEAL knife competition. I'm just surprized it didn't win.
