Anyone here who owns these models? I just want to know since they are under the tactical category and planning to buy either or both. Thanks in advance.

The Hartsook is only 1/16" and is very small and light. I would like to see one that is a little bigger and thicker. Cheapest s30v knife that you can buy at only around $25.

Thanks for the info presz, I would be looking for the Kaala instead of the Hartsook then.

I just posted this in the gen. Forum

I would recommend one to anybody looking for an excellent little pocket scalpel. I wear one in the shirt pocket of my uniform every day while on duty. Believe it or not it has been the most carried knife I own for about 5 months now! I have put it through the test for almost a year now I think. All of my high price folders sit in the safe. By the way I am a die hard CRK fan. I know it sounds crazy due to the size, but that little thing cuts whatever it needs to. It's not meant to pry, chop or what ever else the internet tells you a knife needs to do. It Is meant to be a handy little slicer that will tuck away anywhere discreetly. A piece of s30v with a Bos heat treat, you really can't go wrong for $25. buy a bunch of them for that price. If it's not enough continue to carry a larger folder. I can promise you, the Hartsook will get a lot of use. For all of you that can't live without a Sak, I think it is the ultimate SAK size blade delivered in a well thought out package.

...Nice small review of those lil' slicers...That jus' may be the first fixed blade ( sorta ) I pick up...:)
