I carry my PM2 right side back pocket and I'm looking for something small and light weight for a front pocket carry.. sheeple friendly and light weight.. Please help me!

Pocket clip a necessity and no need for the tactikool look. Dependable and sting lockup a must as well.

Thanks in advance fellas!

Four options come to mind:
1. Small Sebenza Insingo - Different blade shape, but expensive
2. Benchmade 707 - Axis lock and lightweigt aluminum scales
3. Dragonfly - Strong lock and cute name = friendly
4. Mnandi - Very gentlemanly, but again with the CRK price

I just posted this pic to another thread, but it's always helpful to see comparisons:

And all these will fit in the coin pocket on a pair of jeans.

Hello,

The Spyderco g-10 Dragonfly is one of the few small knives I really like. With the choil you can still get a good grip even know is so small. The Spyderco Cat, Chicago and Ambitious are also nice little knives. I personally dont like the Manbug or the Ladybug because without a choil they feel too small in my hand. If you want something a little larger but still what I would consider a small knife, 3" and under, look at the Persistence, Delica, Chaparral, and Sage. I like Spyderco's smaller knives better then all other brands.

Have a good one,

Chris

Get a nice traditional style slipjoint like a #25 by GEC or something. That will compliment your knife both in size and in style. Traditionals never scare anyone somehow.

It'll also be something very different from your spyderco.

Because a smaller spyderco will just look like a smaller version of your other knife.....and sameness = boring. Variety is the spice of life:

I love carrying either a Case Peanut or a Victorinox Cadet Alox. But if you are set on having a clip, I'd check out maybe a Meerkat, Cricket, or Dragonfly.

Going by your stated criteria:

Spyderco Dragonfly 2
BM Mini-Grip
BM Mini-Barrage
Kershaw Shallot/Scallion

I woud sugest an SAK or peanut for a sheeple friendly blade, but your requirement for a pocket clip shoots those down. Is the benchmade 943 too big for you? That's what I carry to the office most days. How about a Delica in a pretty color? I used to have a pink one and the ladies around the office thought it was "cute" once I told them it was for breast cancer.

I looked through my drawer for suggestions but almost every one I found that meets your criteria isn't on the market anymore. I think if you could find an older Kershaw G-10 Wild Turkey you would love it.
