Does anyone know if CRK can "re-tumble" the Sebenza blades to give it a like-new finish?
If I had to guess, I'd say no.
Thanks,
Lenny

) it looks like brand new again!!!!( and I had really used it up!) they can reblast your handles..repolish or retumble blade or whatever else it takes to make it look like the day it was made ....for a small fee of course..call em up and they will discuss what you need..turn around time is usually 2 to 3 weeks....

Thanks kawanin.
Wonder how they keep the tumbling process from screwing up the finish on the critical blade parts like the tang and pivot hole?

We can retumble blades without any problem - or duct tape!

The tumbling process is dependent on the time involved - the longer the part is left in the tumbler, the more material is removed. Blades left overnight will be significantly different from blades left for just an hour. It takes about an hour for a uniform "stonewash" look to be achieved.

For us to restore a blade to like-new finish, whether it is tumbled or polished, we do need to remove the thumblug, so that is a cost factor that needs to be considered.
