My boss almost got fried today. He was cutting plastic zip ties today & cut something behind the computer he shouldn't have. He was using an Auto Clip With BG 42 blade. The blade has a black area running vertical & a groove burned into the edge of the blade. The groove almost looks like a serration. He also had a black stripe on his thumb. He is wondering what can be done to the blade or the cost to repair or replace the blade. Any info will be appreciated. The dealer is going to contact the company, but I thought I might get some answers here quicker. Thanks.

Wow, he must have cut something with a high voltage...!!!
If it burned a chip out of the edge, you'd have to grind it down, or replace the blade... Contact SOG, and they should be able to do that for you, though I doubt it would be warranty...
Man, he is lucky.
