After a few rounds last night, Jerry started to loosen up. He made a slip of the tongue about the possibility of a 5/16" Steel Heart. Woohoooo!

Jerry also mention a nuclear payload in California. This is possibly the MOTHER OF ALL PAYLOADS. There are FOUR KNIVES in this payload! There are TWO Original Argonne Assault & TWO Urgent Fury. Jerry even decribed how to get to it. Hmmmm...decribing something that happened 20 years ago from his memory. Well, let me find my hinking boots for that 10 mile hike.

Dark Nemesis won the $1,000,000 Busse knife for the Sooee Award.

That's it folks.

I, and I alone, have the original, handwritten (by Jerry) map for the mother of all payloads.

:p

Regarding the mother of all payloads:

Mark my words, Survivor, Knightstar, and I will find it.

I thought you were sleeping on top of that rock pile Jerry described! :D Nice meeting you Evolute.

I've heard the stories of this payload before. I hope someone finds it I'd love to see all those blades

:D:D

i didnt get to see jerry iether :( and my reason for leaving didnt pan out... otherwise i would have just slept in the car...

It think Knightstar, Survivor, and I now have the information necessary to retrieve this payload. :D

It will still be a little while before we have the opportunity, but we're gonna do it!

Been there. :D
Didn't find it. :grumpy:
Good luck Evoloink! :)

Drew,

To be clear, the information I was referring to in that last post was not what Jerry said to all of us out in the Day's Inn parking lot on Saturday night; I'm referring to new, additional information, from another source, which has come to light since then--though of course this is still ultimately relying on Jerry's (CBL addled?) memory of events from 23 years ago.

Thanks for the good luck!

--Mike

IdaHog, IdaHoggete, and Revoknio were there baby! They excavated a 23 year old campsite with its original rock fire pit and pistachio shells left behind by my friend and I all those years ago!

They may have already captured the load and left a note behind with the words "No Regrets!" scribbled on it. . . I don't know what's going on! The "SkunkOver" Team is pretty tight lipped about this one!

Good luck my friends!

Jerry

Pish-posh! I'll believe it when I see it. They're just trying to get the "NapTime" team to call off the search, so they can come back and search more later. A stalling tactic, I say.

Did they send you a picture of the nut-shell pile, in order to win an Assault Shaker? Hmmm?....

"...left a note behind with the words "No Regrets!" scribbled on it...."

Hey, they can't do that! That would be littering!

--Mike

Very interesting. If the excavation did indeed occur and said note exists, I will be happy to find that. I'm with Mike "pish posh".

Has anyone made a trip up to the "bedrock" this week?

I'm trying to round up a metal detector and 4-wheel-drive vehicle for another shot at the payload. Third time is the charm, baby! :D

I got a small dose of poison oak on my forearms last Sunday.:( If I make it back there, I'll cover all my skin below the neck.

Remember that Jerry told us we had to notify him if/when we located the cache. Please don't allow your fellow Hogs to make a trip into the Cucamonga just to find a "No Regrets!" note.
