How wide is the SFNO's blade at its widest point?

I've looked, but that's a spec that is rarely recorded with these knives (or any knives for that matter).

Funny I just asked that Q, Redwolf said .220. Except on the "BCS HOG SFNOs" which he was unsure of. I have never measured mine.

.220 is a thickness. I'm asking about width.

I just measured mines with the calipers. Widest section is around 1.82" thick. Mines is one of the fat ones (0.26" thick after removing the coating), but I'd imagine the blade dimensions would be the same.

A fat SFNO? news to me.

Anyway, I dug around the Wayback Machine. from Jerry's description:

"The SF Natural Outlaw possesses many of our most requested features including a wide body blade (nearly 1 7/8" wide), heavily textured micarta handles, straight handle design, and an exposed "birds beak" style skull crusher.

The SF or Special Forces handle is derived from a model that we designed specifically for Special Forces. The SF Natural Outlaw is an excellent blade for nearly all "go heavy" tactical applications. The toughness and cutting performance of the SF Natural Outlaw is simply remarkable"

Guyon,

My Custom NO-E is 1.55" at the widest point. My Custom SFNO -- and I'm enormously lucky to even have that -- is 1.83" at its widest point.

OTE's much-loved NO-E is 1.56" at its widest point.

Hope this info helps.
