Ok here's the deal. Bought this last week. Excellant knife and the nicest EDI I have owned to date. Problem still exists with slight blade wiggle. Sharpness and lock up are stellar. Blade wiggle is killing me. IT is a very slight wobble but there none the less. Just enough to bugg ya. So anyone if you own an EDI and have had the same problem please post solutions here. I like the knife design obviously enough. I have taken it apart a few times to see just what is going on with the wobble but for the life of me I can't see why it is wobbling. I am thinking maybe taking a few thousandths off the pivot bushing or just lightly sanding the brass bushings. Any help will be appreciated. I know I could edc this regular if I could solve the wobble problem, thanks and keepem sharp

Pardon my ignorance but what is an EDI ? Could not find much reference on Google.
Anyway it seems to me that blade wobble is caused by a hair too much space in between , handle-bushings/washer-blade , if you took off more material would it not add to the wobble ?
Depending on the knife , I can get rid of blade wobble by making the pivot area tighter. i.e thicker bushing/washer

Fixed it. What I did is by hand with a med. stone just filed the female pivot bushing down a few thousandths. Did it by eye and kept trying the fit every now and then. Seem to work great. Only did the female end. Now instead of having a nubbing of the bushing hanging over the washer to interfere with the fit of the ti liner it is pretty much flush.

EDI was a generation of tactical knives made by well EDI. Knives pretty much for the most part were cobb jobs, but have always liked the slimmed down design of the build. Liked the shape of the blade they were just as stated poorly made. I finally have a good one with excellant lock up, now no blade wobble and it is a deep pocket ergonomic tactical/edc. keepem sharp
