I have several old folding knives that have significant blade wobble. Though they are not expensive knives, they do have sentimental value, and I would like to have them repaired. One is an automatic Schrade/Walden parachutist's knife that my father gave me when I was 6 years old (37 years ago!), and was my very first knife. Does anyone know if there is someone out there who repairs old pocketknives? Since the original maufacturers of these knives are no longer around and/or no longer make the knife in question, I believe I am going to have to find a private party that does the kind of repair work needed. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
