Blade wobbles when knife is closed :-(

Hi folks,

I recently purchased a vintage Schrade LB7 folding knife with genuine stag handles (I guess those are hard to find).

After the knife arrived here today I had to find out that it is defective.

The blade has a little wobble from left to right when closed but what’s even worse the blade opens for about ½” itself.:grumpy:

When the knife is opened the blade locks as it should with only a very little wobble from left to right (I can live with that).

Can anyone tell me how to repair that beauty???

Maybe buying another LB7 for spare parts?
