Bladeforums access speed

Has anyone else noticed that Bladeforums pages load a lot faster recently. It was very slow for the past few weeks, then suddenly a couple days ago it got fast again.

I had thought that my computer was slowing down due to age, viruses or whatever, but now I'm thinking that something changed on the Bladeforums end. Maybe the server was beefed up?

I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this question, but (a) I don't know where else to ask, (b) this is the only subforum that I follow regularly (along with the Exchanges), and (c) I know there are some computer-savvy people here.

Sometimes it's fast, sometimes slow and sometimes a thread isnt opening at all. Then often it helps to click on "go to first post of thread" .
I guess Tapatalks bugs and my phone are the bottle neck and not so much what's going on at BFs backend.
On a PC changes might be more noticable though.
Still I'd say the last 2 weeks were a bit faster than before.

I go to other pages and they open up quickly so I know it isn't my connection. I come here and the pages just spin and spin and eventually load. I think the bandwidth BF has as a whole is probably much smaller than a "commercial" page, where they expect you to spend money buying stuff from them. Which considering the cost to us, it makes sense. I mean if they charged us more, maybe bump the member rates about 2-3x what they are now and eliminate the "moochers" like myself who don't pay then they could buy faster connections. So I think for what it is worth, I am willing to have a bit of patience while I wait for the pages to open. I mean, if I went to Microsoft and their site was this slow, I probably wouldn't go back, BUT for something I value like the community here, I can handle it.
