this piece of art measures 16 inches by 36 inches, the medium is wood, tin plate steel, a scrapyard knife works ‘dogfather’ that was modified by me, oils and acrylics, it was painted by me (Christopher Lee Plummer) on febuary 26th 2007…. It is similar to pieces that are shown in the many galleries that handle my work and it will be placed on ebay as a benefit auction for bladeforums, it should be up on ebay by the end of the week.

Good on you. I've arranged similarly for my artwork to be auctioned for the benefit of bladeforums; however I arranged to do it on BF, through Spark. You might want to check into the same, before putting it on Ebay.

I'll be looking out for your auction, wherever you end up putting it.

Cheers.

Nice of you VTW. Nice work you do! Guys like you are making me rethink not being a paying member. I always thought since I never sell anything, whats the point, but you have made me reconsider my position.

Please do that! I mean it does help keep the lights on in this place plus I think most of us can afford $25.00 a year.

That's very generous of you VTW!

And that's beauty art!

There has been a few questions as to what my art sells for….. that is a hard question to answer as it varies greatly, the paintings of this size and nature have been priced from 1,300 to 2,900……. Just so you know….

Did you check with Spark to make sure this is cool to do??

If not, I'd advise it ASAP.

Mike

Looks beautiful. Valleytinworks - let me know when the ebay auctions goes up and I'll make an announcement for it. Thatmguy is right, usually I'm the one who puts up auctions, but Valleytinworks approached me repeatedly offering to donate some of his gorgeous works and I've just been alseep at the switch. If he wants to set up an auction and get it going, I'm going to lend my approval this time. He's a good dude from what I've read and seen.

Thanks VTW, for showing us how to give, and sharing your awesome work! If me or mine are ever in the position, one of your pieces will grace my home.

Also, Congrats on the showing @ MOMA NY! My drawing professor worked there while he and his wife worked on their Masters at Pratt. They had some very inspirational stories from there. Again, Congratulations and best of luck!
