If some of you have seen us talking about a chat room and would like to stop in, you first need to download and install mIRC. You can do this from download.com, here:

After you install the FREE software (the trial never expires, just bugs you to send a donation) you want to connect to server irc.unitedusers.net. Once connected you want to join channel "#bladeforums.com"
There are a couple ways to go about connecting. You can add the server to a list of servers and then have it connect. Upon connection you maybe prompted with a window asking what channel you would like to join, and you would type in "#bladeforums.com" without the quotes.
Or you can simply click on the main status window and type:
"/server irc.unitedusers.com" without the quotes and hit enter.
Once connected you would then type:
"/join #bladeforums.com" again without the quotes and hit enter.
Before you do all of this you will need to come up with a unique nickname. You can enter this in the setup screen for the server when you are configuring your connection, or you can type in the status window, or any other channel window:
"/nick YOURNICKHERE" again without quotes and replacing YOURNICKHERE with the unique nickname of your choice. If it comes up with a message saying that nickame is taken, try another one.
