Finally got around to getting a picture up of the Red SIFU - http://www.bladeforums.com/rekat.shtml

Pretty cool looking knife IMHO...

My wife hereby thanks the powers that count for making only 50 of these gems, so's I can't get another Sifu #69.

By the way, how true is the color in that picture, Spark?
On my monitor it looks kinda muave rather than a fire engine red.
Just wondering,
VG

It is actually a bit lighter than what I see on my monitor. But I am color blind

One word- yuck!!!!
Forest green and blackT, OD and blackT, electric blue and blackT- red, however, yuck.
Don't get me wrong. I like the looks of the Sifu itself, and it probably wouldn't look to bad with a polished blade, but this is just... yuck.

It's not for everyone. Me, I like it, but then I'm partial to the colors. Anyhow, I think the color combination looks a lot better than the particular green G-10, but I've always been one for Sports Utility looks instead of Tactical looks.

Don't get me wrong, Spark- I'm sick of black on black my self. But red on black just looks like, well, hooker colors, or something.

Like I said, red G10 handles with normal blade color, that I could work with.

Oooh, those perfectly match my new 14-eyes, this is horrible, I don't need any more knives, I must be steadfast... oh bugger.

I agree, those are hideous. In fact, they are so very hideous that I may have to get two.

The red SIFU has landed. I was just handed number 007 about 20 minutes ago. (Thanks, Spark & Bladeforum.com!) Let me add that I have never seen a SIFU in the flesh 'till now.

Aye Carumba, this is a big folder. Very nice. The color is neither very dark nor light at all -- middle of the road, with a matte texture of course. I'm going to call it brick red.

Gaudy? Yes, but so is the basic design. If you're gonna draw attention anyway, be as loud as you want.

I don't think it looks so bad! It is a damn sight better than the colors used by BM for the 730 Ares. Spark, the colors you chose are just fine. Christian, I agree with you about being tired of black knives. Thanks Spark for getting the ball rolling on this.
