Well, the stainless lovers have finally gotten their wish!
After years of being frustrated, the BF knife will be stainless, specifically 440C!
Thanks everyone for participating!! We got a good turnout,
339 votes were cast, with 57%+ winning out.
We have a couple more polls to go. I will try to get the knife poll set up in the next while. Once we determine who will make it, GEC or CSC, then we can finalize a few details, and start ordering them.
GEC has stated they will make a Stainless knife, with their GEC branding as they usually do, and the secondary blade is up for optional choices.
CSC will give us some shield choices.
But the next poll is strictly for who will make the knife!

And I'm looking forward to having a 440C stainless knife. I'm stubborn to a fault, and I voted for 1095 carbon. But luckily, my brothers and sisters here in the Traditional forum wisely ignored my stubbornness. If it weren't for friends, I would probably never try anything new. So, I'm happy to be "forced" to try out a 440C stainless knife!

Thanks Charlie. Voted for 1095 but if GEC opts for the rounded 82 frame instead of the 81 and smooth white bone clip and coping secondary on a single spring I'll be just fine with 440C.
