For those like me, is there a compilation of photo's for the knives that have been made for this purpose?

I noticed the Roman numberals getting rather large on one of the older ones. I would like to see what knives have been made already, just to come up to speed with the rest of the community that has had the oportunity to see them.

Would a photo album be appropriate for sticking?

Thank you,
Ron

If you're talking about the Traditional Forum Knives, then they are all posted somewhere in this thread. AFAIK the only one that had Roman numerals on it was the 2009 Barlow, which had MMIX for the year. There are at least a couple members who have all of them, starting in '06.

Thank you Danny. That center swell was nice, though the Barlow is the eye candy. I have never seen a ring knife before today. Llast years knife (harness jack?, or janitors knife) was very nice but i don't think i will warm up to easy opens.

There are definitely a ton of things to about the classic knife designs and terminology. Good stuff.

You're welcome, Ron. I agree with you about the Barlow. I'm still kicking myself for missing out on that one. I had just started getting back into slip joints around the time those were shipping out.

OOOH MAN, IF THOSE ARE WHAT PREVIOUS BF KNIVES ARE THEN I GOTTA GET ME ONE OF THE 2012s!!! How much do they usually run for? My guess is a couple hundred?

I haven't been disappointed with the Traditional Forums knives yet and I have 'em all.

The bein' part of the process is the best part of the forum knives. :)

Ted,

I know of three people that have the complete lineup of forum knives. You, Charlie, and airyq. I wonder how long it'll be before they are sought after by collectors.

Missing are the 2007 Canittler and the 2006 Twist Ring Pen.

Here's another pic with the two missin' forum knives.

Thank you Ted, and again for reminding me of the center-swell. A clip point long nail pulls, and a spear point blade together. It is a WOW of a knife too.

Huh, I thought the tradition of BF traditional knife was done for longer then 6yrs. which is kind of cool in that it wont be hard to come up with new patterns to do for the following years. anyone up for a swing guard?

Thanks T. Erdelyi for the pic

I just worked out a trade for the 2007 CS Cannitler. It was a bit steep, but I'm happy, as it looks like a beautiful piece, and I've yet to own a Mammoth-scaled knife.

The ring knife was a type of Easy Open knife, it has no nail nick so you would just fold out rge ring and rotate it to open/close the blade.
