Bladeforums Sebenza?

I remember this time last year there was a discussion regarding a BF Sebenza? I think what was being thrown on the table was a small carbon fiber inlay Sebenza w/dual studs.

Did anything come of this proposed project?

Thanks,
Tom

I like the idea of the carbon fiber inlay, sounds cool as long as BLADEFORUMS doesn't get plastered all over it. (No offense to Bladeforums at all as it is a great forum site...but I just wouldn't want it etched into my knife!)

As i recall it was being tossed around then it just disappeared. It would be interesting to know if anything more has happened.

It was discussed, but we'd need a 6 month lead time, and at least 100 orders - something we don't see as likely to happen since no one was willing to commit to a design they didn't like.

I think it may have gone the same place that the JKM memorial knife went...

Lots of heated discussion, and long threads but nothing further.
