Since there appears to be a lot of interest in this topic, I thought I would start a new thread, separate from Battle Mistress vs. Cold Steel Trailmaster thread.

What does a dealer/forumite/etc. do to have their favorite knife included in the test? When will the testing occur? Where? etc....

Depending on what knives are available anyone can send any knife for testing. Once we have a few knives which belong in a good category for testing we will proceed with a test. The problem is no matter what knives we test someone somewhere will think of some knife that should of been included in the test. So we will do the best we can with what we have. As proven in our last folder test we will post all results regardless of who the maker is or their ties to this site. No tests will be scewed towards any favoritism. All test will be performed here at our facility in Jacksonville. We will anounce dates and anyone is welcome to attend any of the knife test and even help out by doing a test or two themselves.
