I need a blade less multi tool and it needs to be blade less, so can anyone help me find a blade less multi tool for <20$. Thanks in advance.

Okay, after being warned, I'll post the suggestions again -- only this time WITHOUT the links (MY BAD).

A few bladeless MT's (including one SAK) you might consider:

Victorinox Jetsetter 3 (scissors, combo tool w/ bottle opener and small Phillips driver, and the tweezers & toothpick you'd normally find in a Classic)

Gerber Dime Travel (exactly the same as the Gerber Dime, but with a file and zipper hook replacing the blade and package opener)

Leatherman Style PS (exactly the same as the Style CS, but w/ pliers as the main tool, and the scissors replacing the blade)

Wenger Swiss Clipper AT, out of production but easy enough to find: scissors, nail file, nail clipper, micro screwdriver, tweezers & toothpick.

Victorinox Midnite MiniChamp for size comparison.

No one collects them, easy to find under $20.

There is a TSA approved multi-tool available (pliers based). I believe it was at AG Russell, but certainly way above the $20.

I've been looking around for the same thing myself. If you're looking for a pliers based tool, the only real options I came across were the Swiss tech or the IDL tools offerings. I have no experience with either but finally opted for the IDL T5, mostly due to the pliers design. Should have it this week, I'll let ya know what I think if you haven't found one by then.

If you are trying to find a bladeless multitool for under $20 your options are pretty much limited to what has been suggested.

In that range I would suggest the Wenger Swiss Clipper AT or the Style PS.

If you are looking for a full size multitool that is bladeless you are going to have to spend probably $50. Only other option for a full size bladeless would be to get a MT (like a Leatherman Fuse or Kick) and remove the blades.

EDIT: Just looked and the Gerber bladeless (came out this year and full sized) is in the $35 range.

Thanks for the responses, and wow I didn't know my selections for multi tools would be this low, I thought it would be like a search for normal multi tools just without the blades.

I picked up a gerber clutch many years ago for a keychain spare. Just b4 a visit to a NO KNIFE zone i removed the blaade. It was quick and easy and I now use this whenever it is needed. very small plyers almost tweezer-like, but they do work.

The SOG Powerlock Traveler is a pliers based multi-tool that complies with TSA regulations. AG Russell has them listed for $73. For any serious tool, I think your budget is going to be pretty limiting, and probably limits you to something along the lines of a small swiss army knife without the a blade at best.
