Blademaster videos

Someone at a show a few years ago recommeded I check out some videos by the company that makes (made?) the Blademaster Ginder. He said they had a lot of good tips on making on them. I guess they made a Beginning and Advanced Knifemaking video. I can't find any info on the net about this company or the videos and was wondering if anyone here knows anything about them and/or has a used copy of one or both of these videos that they would be willing to maybe sell or let me borrow to watch and return. I would be happy to pay any shipping cost.
Or if someone has seen them and they are worthless and you want to recommend I don't try and find them, that would be great, too!
Thanks for any info.

I would recommend that you DO try to find them. They were made in an effort to help sell the Blademaster grinders, and apparently that all fell through. All the suppliers told me they quit advertising Blademaster grinders because that guy making them would never deliver as promised.

Anyway, I used to have the videos. I bought copies from a guy, and his originals got stolen. He borrowed my copies, and apparently decided it was his turn to rip someone off....haven't seen them since.

The first video was instruction on making a simple, hollow-ground, drop point hunter with wood scales.

The second was a fancier, drop point hunter with nickel silver guard, mirror polish, and stag handles. For the life of me I can't remember the maker featured in the videos.

Videos aren't the answer to all questions, but they sure help!

Thanks for the reply, Nick.
That explains why I can't find any info on them.
That sucks that he ripped you off; what are "friends" for, huh.
From what you say, they sound like they might be pretty good; now I really what to see them!
I agree, vids are not the answer to everything, but if I get the answer to one question from them, then I have gotten somewhere.
Anyone else know about these vids?
Thanks.
