I did it guys. I went out and bought a 2 x 72 blademaster. I got it from Mr. Johnny Stout near here in New Braunfels Texas. He told me it would make a world of difference and man was he right. I love it, i should have my second knife done before too long. Ill put up pics of both. I spent about 4 hours over a couple of days in Mr. Stouts shop..this man is a definite artist. And a really nice guy, he sent me home with a few belts to work with and a mountain of information to work with as well. If any of you know him you know what i mean.

My first beltgrinder was a Blademaster. I got it back in 1983/84. I still use it set up as a small wheel grinder.
Did you get any accessories with it, like vertical front platen, small wheel setup, etc?:D

Well it has a flat platen but i didnt get the small wheel setup or anything like that. But i tell you what, it is much easier to use than the craftsman i was using, alot faster too.
