can anyone tell me, compared to a sak how long the blades and tools are on a swisstool. I bought a gerber suspension and found that the blades and tools are so short they are almost unusable. I took it back to target and think I will get a swisstool.

I have a couple of Gerbers, numerous Leathermans, 1 SOG, and 1 Swisstool. In my opinion without a doubt the Swisstool has the best blades and the most useful implements of all the multi tools I've got to choose from. Other than the short wire cutter blades I really can't think of any complaints. I like the pliers and cutters on the SOG better, but like the implements on the Swisstool. If you like the feel and performance of a Victorinox pocket knife, then I think you'll enjoy the Swisstool. I've enjoyed mine so far and trust me, it gets a hardy work out on the jobsite.

It very much depends on what you need it for, I've tried the SwissTool and found the plier tips are too blunt for my needs & that the "typical multiuse" SAK screwdriver blades can be restrictive.

I am going back to my LM Supertool 200 for EDC multitool carry, until I get my hands on a LM Core.

That said it's a quality tool and if you can live with the above points I would recommend it, got mine from Ebay for £22.50 bargain:D
