Anyone here a Chile head? I love 'em I've polished off three Carolina Reapers today and about to have #4. Drinking Corona, and watching the infamous movie Flight.

3 Reapers? I feel sorry for your toilet.

But seriously I love hot stuff and have a nice little collection (mainly use all of them, not in to the weird one off stuff from Blairs or Cajohns, except 2am and 3am reserve)

Now you just need to drink something better than Corona...

I've been making a Tobasco-like-but-hotter hot sauce for years with bird's eye chilies (a/k/a Thai chilies).

My Thanksgiving turkey was rubbed with a homemade ghost chili (bhut jolokia)-infused pecan oil.

I started growing Carolina Reapers a few months ago, but the plants are only now beginning to flower. Not sure what I'm going to do with those.

Red beans and rice with Liquid Stoopid hot sauce, Victory Dirt Wolf DIPA while oiling my newest Team Gemini '14. Not quite the same, but still hot as hell.

You would love the Heartbreaking Dawn, Fervor, hot sauce made with the Carolina Reapers. They break me out in a sweat, in a good way.

I love hot & spicy as long as there is a good flavor to the sauce or pepper.
I've really gotten into Sriracha over the last couple years. I put that XXXX on everything! ;)

Love their Chilli paste too!

I just put some bird Thai seeds in soil yesterday. They came free with the Reaper seeds from Pepper Joe's. I grow indoors and outdoors. I estimate I harvested North of 3000 Reapers off my last Reaper plant. Gen Organics nutes and Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil. Start off easy with the reapers. Maybe a quarter pod or whatever. On year two, I ate two pods, I thought I was going to die. They stayed down five minutes. Now I can eat two, and after the endorphin rush I forget about it until an hour later when I realize my lips still burn. You just get used to it. I can't wait for the bird peppers. And some type of lemon peppers the seed of which I got from an acquaintance.

I'm not picky about my beer (well a little) but I drink Corona like soda. I love craft beers. So far my favorites are from Hair of the Dog brewing Company, and Trappist Westvleteren 10. I haven't found the 12 yet but when I do I will try it. The flavor of the 10 is so complex.

It's spelled and pronounced Sriracha. Everyone says it wrong. Sorry pet peeve of mine. That is if you're talking about the popular brand.

Yep I mean Sriracha, fingers failed me yet again... :foot:

Love the stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just offed 2 more monster Reapers on a couple loaded hot dogs. Feels like someone shoved sparklers in my ears.

That initial sensation will pass in an hour or so...

then in a little while it'll feel like someone shoved roman candles up your rectum...

kinda like the 4th of July in Thanksgiving

Yeah, the next morning, well I got used to that too. Good thing I work from home. No Boss to ask why are you in the bathroom three times before lunch. Haha.

Westy 12 is good but not amazing by any means. If you are in to beer trading at all you should be able to find one without giving up a lot. Otherwise, check out Etre Gourmet or Belgium in a Box. Shipping isn't cheap from Belgium but they are good sources for things not easily acquired here (Westy, Cantillon, 3F, etc)

I used to be able to eat any pepper someone threw at me. Then I turned thirty and my stomach convinced me to stop. LOL

Is there a good part to eating these things? So far it just sounds terrible and that description is possibly the worst thing I have ever heard.

They are quite tasty. The endorphin rush feels like you just jumped out of and airplane and wasn't sure you remembered to put your chute on. Haha. Seriously, you catch a buzz due to the pain. Not for everyone.
