I have lots of surplus 7.62x51 sitting around waiting for spring so I thought I'd put some of it to use a little early. :D

What ? No spec's ? :D

Man, I like both, but like dniice87, the top one is  .

I`ll third that comments about the 1st blade!!!

What about some specs!? :D

Thanks a lot,

Wolfgang

Me too, also what are you going to fire all that ammo out of?

Great photos as usual. Preston

Ooops! Forgot to the details. :o

The first knife is the little brother of a pair of tactical knives made by Ed Kalfayan. I missed the auction on ebay the first time around but luckily the "little guy" didn't meet the reserve and was relisted. With a 'buy it now' of only $250 I didn't hesitate. It has a 6" blade of O1 and green canavas micarta handles. The whole thing has a black oxide finish. OAL is 11 1/2". Good weight and balance with a real comfortably sculpted handle. The sheath is hand made by Ed as well. It is definatley a fighter style sheath as the flap is in the front rather than back. This allows you to snap open the flap and draw the knife up and forward all in one quick motion. This probably my favorite fixed blade in my little collection.

The other knife is a Relentless M4 Fighter by Daniel Certo. It's a real badd ass camp knife but I don't think it would that great as a fighter. Over all lenght is 12 3/4'', blade is 7 3/4'' x 1/4 x 2''. Made from 5160 and zone tempered. Handles are green canvas micarta.

As for what all that ammo is for? Why my M14 scout rfle of course. :D

Holy Crap! $250 for the first one? you need to hang on to that one, my friend...

IMHO, would've looked better with a kydex sheath...FWIW...

Do you have a picture of the spine/tang? Thanks!

That Kalfayan fighter is GORGEOUS.
Is it an integral design?
So sweet. I love the primary grind.

Nice Springfield as well!

It sure looks like an integral design but it isn't. I'm not sure how he attached the bolsters but they are practically seemless.

And thanks for all the compliments, guys! :)

Thanks for the details...I've seen some in your "little collection", very nice, you are being modest:D :D a nice trait..

Ah yes, the M-14, that will make short work of that ammo and you'll have much fun in doing so. Keep up those great photos/post. Preston

Thanks for the compliment Preston. I always appreciate your posts.

Daniel - I can see what you mean about a good kydex sheath but there's just something about leather I like. Especialy when its worn in and full of character. Kind of tells you a tale just looking at it. :D

Not even the .50BMG is a match for the mighty Strider AR :)

LoL That AR dwarfs that .50 cal round. Military needs a new heavy machine gun that shoots Strider knives.

That would be so unfair that it's probably against the Geneva Convention ;)

Keeping up with the theme I started here's my newest folder, a Peter Marzitelli "Digger".

It's 7 7/8" OAL with a 3 1/2" CPM S30V blade. The handles a tan canvas micarta with tortiose shell style came. The blade has a satin bronzed finish which looks even cooler than in the pics. The Ti liners are bead blasted and the Ti clip has a bronze finish with polished holes. Real smooth opening and tight lock up with no play. This thing is SUPER lightweight for its size. The blade is only 1/8'' and the liners 1/16'' which lightens the whole package. I was a little worried about durability but is seems immensely strong, all things considered. Beside I have other folding 'tank peelers' for heavy use.

Thanks for looking. :)

Not a fan of tactical or tac styled stuff but the Marzitelli + the Kalfayan make it a DREAM-TEAM!

A very jealous
