Blades that complement each other

While all our blades are wonderful on their own, some go together like wine and cheese, or for all us blue collar types, bbq and beer. This is one pair of mine:

2Hawks Longhunter and Jeff White recurve

When I grab a tomahawk I find myself transported to another time. A good rustic knife at my side completes the picture. What are your complementary blades. Not necessarily a hawk and knife but big knife/little knife, tactical/gentleman's, etc.

Actually, blades that compliment each other might say things like "Oh my, don't you look sharp today!" to each other.

That said, your recurve and 'hawk do complement each other nicely.

I'm usually a one knife kind of guy but recently I've been carrying my 940 clipped inside my waistband and a mini grip in my pocket. It's a good combo.

I can't carry my gayle bradley but if i did I think it'd go nicely with my 470. A hard use knife in the waistband and a gentlemans folder in the right front pocket.

These photos never look as good as they did on my cellphone screen . . i guess i need to dig out the real camera.

Haha. Fixed.

As of now these two seem to compliment each other for me.
Gentlemen folder on the left, just in case I'm in a place where people might get scared of a knife ...
and a larger more ergo blade on my right for when I need that extra byte ;)

Benchmade Emissary and a Spyderco Paramilitary 2.

I call it my "Float like a Butterfly; Sting like a Spyder" combo.

Here's my set up, and I feel that they compliment one another well. You have a large , single-bladed, folder (BM275SNBK ) for any hard/tough task's, a medium sized slipjoint (Case Humpback whittler or as shown a Hammer Brand jack) for a lot of every day jobs, at least for me. Finally, a smaller sized multi tool (Leatherman Juice S2)for jobs that usually pop up at the most inopportune of times and require tools that your knives do not possess.

I usually only carry a slipjoint, but when I carry more than one knife I like these two.
