Going to the blade show,in Atlanta. My first time. I make small folders with blades about 2 1/4" long. will I be able to take them on a plane. or do I have to ship them ,and if so to where? How do the rest of you guys get em there? thanks, still wet behind the ears......

This is a good question. I will be faced with flying to Atlanta too. Is there a form to be filled out or prior authorization? Also If they lose my luggage Im dead. Bruce B

Don't you guys know that you have to hide them just the same way people smuggle drugs on a plane???

Just ask Mayo, he had a long flight from Hawaii to Oregon!

Just kiddin, that is a really good question.

After all the coverage of theft by baggage handlers I won't EVER let go of anything valuable at an airport.
Get someone to let you MAIL the knives to them, and use REGISTERED mail.
If a registered package gets lost it may cost someone their job. Our postmaster has been with the Post Office for 25 years and has never been involved with a lost registered piece of mail.
It costs a few bucks but it is the safest way to move anything legal

Just one more of my opinions

Dick,
For years I travelled all over the US, Canada, and Mexico with a 2-1/2" folding pocket knife and never had a problem. I would ask the airlines I planned to travel with. If you put them with your suitcase, make sure it has a lock.
