Can anyone suggest a good knife supplier. I am new to working with knives so I am simply trying my hand at putting the pieces together. What I am looking for is a supplier that carries blades already finished, tempered, etc... at a good priece. That way all I have to do is make the handles and put the pieces together. Who knows, maybe one day I will be able to make my own blades. (baby steps) Thanks to anyone with help.

Hey Tyrkon, you may benefit from this website:

http://pub53.ezboard.com/bprimalfires

Good bunch of folks there too. They are primarily a neo-tribal site, meaning lots of the old ways of smithing, but they have a fantastic tutorial on smithing blades. May be good reading for you to expand your knowledge base.

Otherwise, you can't go wrong with the above places to shop, and Texas Knifemaker's Supply is good also.

with a lot of input from makers right here.

mete,, one of us here.. sent me the ready made blade and the wood
with his design.
I put the German silver (N/S) in, it's a very simple one to do.
