Hello all,
I will be attending Bladeshow for the first time ever this year. I am of course beyond excited, I may try to make it the first day, but know I will for sure make it for Saturday and Sunday. With that being said, I plan on bringing a decent amount with me to find one nice custom or just something that really jumps out at me (hoping $600 - $1,000). This is a bit of an odd question, but, what makers should I be on the lookout for.
I like knives that have unique but functional blade shapes, unique materials, and overall stand out differently from the rest. I like folders and don't much care for fixed blades. Overly thick and tactical knives don't appeal to me at all. I typically prefer something that is easily EDC-able in the 2.5" - 3.75" range.
I am familiar with the mid/high end production knives: Reate, CRK, CKF, Shirogorov, Koenig, Olamic, and perhaps a few others. What custom makers and/or high-end production makers would you all recommend I look at while there?
Thanks all!
