Hello BladeForums folks,

Been a while since I've posted here but wanted to try... Had a great time at the Blade show - attended with my son and father, three generations of knife nuts :)

My dad is 76 now and a big Spyderco fan - he was psyched to purchase a 15V PM2 seconds from their booth. He's been wanting a PM2 for a while now but paying retail didn't make sense... The deal on the factory second was too hard to pass up and it never left his hand (even through lunch!).

Around 2:30 on Friday it went missing. He remembers holding it around the DLT Trading booth and somewhere between there and more or less a direct path to the center of the hall it was just gone. Ruined what had been an amazing day for him.

I know this is a super long shot, but if anyone reading this happened to find a 15V PM2 on the ground at Blade on Friday and dropped it in their bag, please send me a PM.

Terry is indeed a good guy. As generous as he is, I was really just hoping that somebody picked it up and reads this post or the one I put on another forum. Million to one odds but I wanted to try.

Tks again Terry

That is awesome Terry. I wás.going to step up myself when I read this. I had a member on here gift me a otf knife when I first joined this forum and got stolen from at Xmas time. This is what makes this community so awesome. Kudos my friend !

Blade brothers and sisters - I’m truly flush with all your kudos but I just read the story and wanted to help because it would make me feel good and I honestly didn’t expect any outpouring of folks PM’ing me. Please know that StoneDog StoneDog was honestly just hoping for a long shot and graciously passed on my offer. I’ve had folks reaching out to me in an attempt to help offset the cost of the Manix that ended up not going out. Please know that I’m overwhelmed by your generosity and wanting to help however there is no need. I love this community and the people here and this is just one more of many reasons.
God bless and StoneDog StoneDog good luck brother, we’re all rooting for your long shot.

Hi Everyone,

Not surprisingly, the PM2 in question did not turn up.

Along with the amazing offer from Terry M. Terry M. , palonej palonej offered via PM to send my father a PM2 of comparable material. At first I declined but later reconsidered. Joe (palonej) is refusing any sort of compensation so the least I can do is make sure the good folks here are aware of his good deed.

This forum's generosity is humbling. Thank you again Joe, Terry and everyone here at BF. I don't remember the forum being like this back in the early days - you guys are a class act.

That's why I'm proud to be in this group of fine folks. There is still hope in this cruel world.

Well said and I whole heartedly agree!!! With first part😉. The second, well one can wish but today it seems the knuckleheads out number the decent folks....
