This will be my first yeah attending, so for those of you that have been to Atlanta and/or bladeshow, what is appropriate as far as bringing/carrying knives in Atlanta and at the show. Should I bring my Steel Heart and show it off proudly on my hip? Or would it be better accepted to only wear a smaller knife like an MSe?

Should I keep my knives low profile when I'm not at the event location?

I know, I know, it's a show for knives, but I just want to make sure before I get into trouble or make people uncomfortable:confused: I don't know the area and looking up the laws can only tell me so much.

Thanks in advance guys!

At the show you will see folks carrying all kinds of blades; I have carried my Bowie in past shows. Outside the show you might want to scale it down and maybe wear your shirt over it, something like a 4 or 5 inch blade.;)

As said no worries at the show but tone it down a little on the street. I am just glad GA accepts my TN carry permit.

My excuse (stopped) on the street would be ... “I just bought this knife from a guy and I’m trying to expedite/make/crawl/find/make my way to my hotel room as fast as a guy new to this great city of Atlanta can.” “Man I love this F’n place occifer”! You guys are da best down here! What’s that you’re carrying by the way?!? Ah, Glock ?? . Niiice!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::eek::eek::eek::oops::oops::oops:
Psst.. Ok I went a little silly , sorry!! I’m gonna try and catch a nap now. These new work hours are messing me up. Stay thirsty my friends! :)

Within a few miles of the show I am sure the police know and have had a meeting or two about running into people carrying-transporting all kinds of weird stuff.

I just noticed that the Galleria is charging for parking for the first time. CC payment only.

Just looked at the Blade FB page. There is already a line.
