This is the most exciting knife from Kershaw in the past few years.

Here is a little update about the knife.

Jim was very nice to meet in person. Stoked to see him after watching him in Shot Show videos every year. Its really cool to see a premium budget folder that has the "looks" and an upgraded steel (D2) in an over the flooded market of 8cr13mov, 3cr, 9cr etc.

The copper on the final version will be shiny, not the matte bead blade type finish on the prototype in the video.

Should take a killer patina like the Olight Baton Mini Cu that Jim has in the video.

The action was GREAT I'm so happy they decided to not do the assisted "speed safe" action.

No confirmed date of release just end of year.

The street price I believe was +\- $70ish

I got an original Natrix on 1st release, cut a piece of cardboard and he the stop pin pop out. Looks like they’ve fixed that issue?

i can see why folks like this. the copper is neat but all the 2.75" to 3.25" small blade kershaws I got no use for or interest in. if it was in 3.75" plus, then I'd be interested.

I really want to be excited for this. I bought one of the first KVT natrix models, and the detent was so tight it literally hurt the finger to flip the knife. I hope this one is dialed in.

Nice to see a Kershaw with out the speedsafe, overall a good looking knife at a decent price.

I hope they fixed the issues, I bought the original natrix when it first came out, and after a day or 2 of using it (not abusing it) the sub-frame lock got stuck so bad I had to get some pliers to get the knife closed. I ended up letting a co-worker borrow it and never asked for it back. Maybe I just got a bad one...? Most of the new kershaws seem kinda cheap IMO, not like the old links and cryos, volts...etc that got me hooked on KAI in the first place. Zero Tolerance hasn’t let me down once tho and I have about 50 of em

That looks very cool.

I was also fortunate to meet Jim at BW. In fact, after we were interrupted unintentionally by another booth visitor, Jim made it a point to leave the booth to find me and introduce me to kershawguy. That blew me away.

I just wanted a 0777. Still pissed off at that whole debacle. The Natrix is nice looking...but make me one in CF with a high end steel please.

I called Kershaw, they said it should be in stores second week of November.

Also the USA made bareknuckle should be ready at the end of November.
