How do you get to this "chat" that everyone is typing about?

Ron, download MIRC. Once you get it loaded up, type:
/server irc.newnet.net

Then once you are into Newnet, click the icon of a folder with #+. Then type #bladeforums.com and push enter.

Easiest way to get the mIRC software is by clicking on the link in the BF home page. You can find it on the left hand side of the page, under the heading 'site'.
