A good friend of mine from Central PA paid me a visit at work today and was showing me all the pics he took at Blade. Now, this guy hardly ever gives production knives a second glance. He is into high-end customs (Carsons, Emersons and the like) and always takes copious notes for his scrap book. As we are scanning the pics on his USB drive, drooling over all the eye candy, I caught a glimpse of this! Looks like a folding Ulu! When I asked him about it he said it was a really cool knife and he was curious about it as well.
He has handled my BladeTech knives at several get togethers and knows how much I love them. Turns out he questioned the guys from BladeTech and jotted down a few specs, 'cause he knew I'd be twisting his arm....

Blade steel- AUS 8
Blade thickness- 1/8"
Blade length- 3.75"
Blade width from spine to cutting edge- 1.5”
Overall length open-8 5/8”
Overall length closed- 4 7/8”
Overall length ULU position- 5.25”
Aluminum handles with what looked like a rubber coating
Index jimping grooves on blade spine
Full steel 1 1/16” thick liners
Torx screw construction
Teflon washers
Available in black and hunter orange

OK, what I need to know is this going to be an actual production knife?
If it is, when can I get one and how much will it set me back?

Bladetech has some great products. I want to see the Magnum line models. That one sounds interesting though.:D

That is a nice feature. Even the non-ulu mode is a decent shape for the kitchen. The cuttingg edge is much lower than the finger.

Me like :)
