Hi Gang- These knives appear to be very well made and affordable. Any feedback?

I have one that I picked up from CountyComm, the Ganyana. Nice little folder IMHO. Just not a fan of AUS 8 and I found the liner lock difficult to disengage for my fat fingers. YMMV.

I've only held the Pro-Hunter Magnum. Awesome blade, but a little pricey IMO. They were selling for around 200$, but im sure theyre cheaper online.

Super ergonomic and fit and finish was superb, go get one if you can!

if you're lookin for a beater, they're not bad. Nothing i'd EDC personally, but i am a folder snob ;)

*Nix that... i'm thinking of M-tech.... i don't know anything at all about blade tech

Bladetech has some nice offerings, I think the majority of theire wares are military clothing and holsters etc.

I have had a few of their knives on my short list, the blade shape kind of turned me off of them however. The ULU is an interesting design, and I haven't heard much bad about it, the lock seems to hold up well.

I believe at one time the Pro Hunter was the duty knife for Alaska's Fish and Game dept. A friend has one and he swears by it. I used it to dress a deer one time and it worked well for me. Lots of shops have them for around $150 or so.

I have a really cheap one (zytel folding hunter) and an expensive one (Rijbak). I find them to be overpriced for what you get, but generally well made. Theres no compelling reason to buy one over a similar Spyderco design.

I think they make an exceptional product, i had a Pro hunter magnum that was just awesome, it is the toughest folder I've ever had, the quality is definitely up there. The S30V on them is some of the best I've used. I would say in my opinion that the pro hunter exceeds the quality of many knives, including the paramilitary 2 and military, and i love those knives. The para 2 would be a more suitable edc knife though, but if you are talking about a real robust work knife i would choose a blade tech pro hunter magnum, even over a military because of the stronger tip. I sold mine because i needed the cash and my umumzaan was getting the most pocket time, but i really do recommend you check them out.

The Blade Tech Wenger Professional folder has an s30v steel blade and in made in the USA. The price is very affordable. I've seen them with black, green, and orange handles.

Rolf I am compelled by a higher force to respond to all your threads :D

I was checking out the BladeTech Black Wolf quite closely at one point, mostly because I liked the name.... seriously though, it looks like a nice high end fighting folder to me, if you dont mind recurves too much. Check it out...
