BladeTech Tek-Lok Klips (BTK) attachment question...extra long rectangle spacers?

I'm about to try to attach my BTK to an ESEE-3MIL-S Kydex sheath that I pulled off of a MB.

I have everything ready to attach but there are some parts that I'm not quite sure what their purpose is.

I have two rectangle pieces, one is about 1/2" and the other 1/8" tall, both the same thickness and width. They are the same thickness of the BTK. One of them has two half recessed grooves on one side of it and looks like it could be used to create extra space for some reason, but I'm not too sure why.

My other hardware includes 3 small screws, two longer screws that go into the 2 provided screw studs. It also has two circular spacer for use.....I assume they go between the sheath and the BTK clip.

Can anyone who has used these in a horizontal (or vertical) position please give me some advice! Even if you have just used one of the BladeTech Tek-Lok Klips and can give me some pointers as to what is and is not needed I'd appreciate it.

AH, can you post a photo of what you have? ARe you speaking about the TEK Lock or the MOLLE Locks (clips)?

Without seeing them, I believe the rectangular pieces are for reducing the size of the clip to fit various belt widths. The small screw should be for attaching the spacers to the clip itself.
I have to run and check what mine came with. Be right back...

I'm looking at the clip I picked up last week. The smallest crew is for attaching the belt spacers. The other two are for whatever you want to do with them, I think they're a little too long for attaching to a 3 sheath, without some of it sticking out.
I think the spacers you are talking about are the female "nut" of the set.

It is not a Tek-Lok, it is a Tek-Lok Klip (BTK).

There are these two rectangular pieces that fit the length of the clip. One of them has two recessed grooves like it is supposed to fit around some screws.

There are two circular spacers, two rectangular pieces that I'm not sure what to do, two long screws, three short screws and two studs (female pieces) that are used for the main attachment to the sheath.

I'll take some pics after I dink around with it, hopefully I can get some time at work tomorrow.

They are indeed for allowing the Klip to work with different size belts. I'll try to grab a quick picture to illustrate it.

Okay, got 'em.

The bottom screw in this pic is the one that attaches the part(s) in question to the actual Klip.

This is how the spacer should be oriented in the Klip.

The screw actually goes through the spacer.

Okay, sweet. I was looking at a BT Lok and saw that it had two spacers that actually clip into it to change the width.

So I know what the short screw is for....to screw in the spacer for the belt.

That leaves 2 different sets of screws of different lengths. I'm guessing one is for the top set of holes, the longer ones, and the shorter ones are for the holes that only go through the single back layer of the klip.....for if you were going to do a cross carry or a higher carry.

I think I got it figured out and added this in case anyone else had any questions on using them properly. Thanks for the pics they really helped. I do have a question, though. You have two different length screws at the top. Was that to illustrate the proper one and the differences in how far they go through? Or is it something that I'm missing?
