I just bought this knife, and love it. I have not carried it but around the house, and I saw a few needs for this to be the perfect cheap knife for me. First, we will cover the specs.
Blade Thickness .120"
Knife Thickness .476" / .675" at the clip
Blade length 3.50"
Closed Length 4.50"
Open Length 8.00"
Weight 4.0 oz
440C steel
Lockback
FRN handles with G10 molding
reversible tip up carry position
I paid 37.00 out the door for this knife in the blister pack.
I noticed a few things right off the bat that i just couldnt live with, and since the knife was fairly inexpensive, I could afford to play with it. The first issue was that the blade was very sharply cut, on all side. the opening hole would nearly cut you when opening it, as would the sides of the spine, and the serrations on the back of the blade. I remedied this with a quick dremel hit to bevel the edges. Much, much better.
The other issue is that the lock on the back of the knife would very easily be activated with a strong grip, causing the blade to try to close. Definitely bad juju. I took a tip from the Spydie Native, and dished the lock, and cured the issue. I may have actually dished it a bit deep, but I think it will be OK once ht eknife really breaks itself in.
Overall, I am very, very impressed. A very good knife for a very, very good price. I will see how it holds up as a general duty knife in a LEO setting, and report back. I apologize for the poor photos, but I really didnt have time to do them right.
