Bruce,

A couple comments:
1) This bowie looks great, I like it.
2) I think you are asking for trouble putting NiSi side-by-side with stainless. It's one thing to have NiSi fittings tarnish over time, it's yet another to have part of the fittings tarnish and others not.
3) Your work deserves better pictures. The first two are so bblurred and grainy they're difficult to analyze.

Josh,I would rather not have used the stainless but I have no NS the correct thickness and havent been able to find any decent NS in 1/8 inch thickness lately.I have seen this combination done before so figured it would work ok...

Sorry about the crappy pictures,I am still trying to figure out the new camera plus my eyes still not focusing well isnt helping.I have been having to let the camera say it is focused and that is not always correct,They did look good on the camera, but not when I downloaded them.I will do better with the pictures just as I will do better with the knives as I get healed up.
Bruce

Well, don't strain your eyes too much. The point is, it's a very fine looking knife.

Thanks.Glad you guys like it...
I am so tired of using my eyes as a excuse but that is the trouble most of the time anymore. That is one reason I have been taking so long on a knife lately,if I am not seeing well then I dont mess with the knife,I live for good days....lol

The bowie looks outstanding. Good work!

Let Donna take the photos. Stop overworking yourself, and she may surprise all of us with her eye. You DO deserve better and I'll bet that camera can do it.

Coop

You could send it to me and I'll take a shot or two for ya.
;)
I'll get'er back to you in a year or so :D

Looks good from here. Keep 'em coming.

Looks very nice! Nice to see something with a classic elegance that isn't damascus. (too much of that swirly-steel going around these days.:barf:)
Keep up the good work!
David

Coop,I was thinking the same thing...now if I can convince her to do them.I bet she would do good.

Ebbtide, yours is profiled and setting on the bench ready to get ground tomorrow...

Thanks for the great comments everybody,
Bruce

Cool!
Keep workin on those photos.
And I'm serious about the offer...kidding about the time frame :D

The title made me laugh--"Bland mans Bowie".

The last term that I would use to describe your work is bland.

I like that knife a lot.

Shaldag,I didnt realize that I spelled blind wrong in the title,Glad you like it.

Thanks for all the great comments everybody,I will be trying to get better pictures today.
Bruce
