blank to fit 1911 grips?

Hello all,

I have a pair of grips from a 1911 pistol.
I have seen a couple examples of these used as scales on a knife.
Does anyone know of an off-the-shelf blank that will do this?
All the links on examples I've found have link-rot

I would like to just be able to mount the grips / scales on a sharpened blade.
However I take what I get :)
Mark Knapp has a nice blade .. but a bit on the expensive side (but worth it)

His are also 8" blade and I was sort of aiming at 6"

Ultimate Equipment has some ... but it looks like just folders.

While the 1911 is one of the most comfortable and easy to shoot pistol out there, that doesn't make them a good grip for a knife.
