Forgive the horrific idea and mental imagery, but I just gotta ask. Could the flat, blasted Ti handles of a Seb be used to sharpen a blade? In theory, of course! I mean, as far as grittiness goes, the handles feel somewhere in between the medium browns and fine whites of a Sharpmaker.

(And for anyone who noticed, I came to my senses and took my large regular off the exchange board... might even pick up a small regular for atonement;)!)

i doubt it.

the ti scales are softer than the blade steel. you may be able to get a strop effect, but i dont know how effective it would be.
