Here is one made by Wayne Valachovic a few years ago, he's long since retired and last heard that he lives in Hawaii...nice eh?

It's a small mother of pearl scales, forged blade with vine file work from tip to tail release lever, that's how this one works, the fob on the end, you press that down and the blade unlocks and you can then close the knife.

Blade is a forged blade by Wayne, length of the blade is 2 5/8" long with the handle being just at 3 1/8" long.

Nice lockup and file work, a gents folder if ever there was one! I got to meet Wayne a couple of times at Ashokan Seminar back in 1990 I think or a little before...

Enjoy!

Very Nice - I'm not much into folders but I've been sorely tempted by a couple of Valachovics that I've come across over time. That's a great example you've got there.

Cheers,

Roger

Good question, I'll do a Google search and see what I can find!

actually I think this one will be one for the drawer, and to take to Church on Sundays to rub that pearl, very nice fit up to the bolsters!

A very nice knife indeed.

I read somewhere that Wayne has a scuba diving business in Hawaii. Tough, but I guess somebady has to do it.
