This year was the second Blade show for the girlfriend and myself.. My parents were kind enough to watch our pup while we were out of town. The parents did some cleaning of the house and gave me this when I picked up the dog.

This Blade show was the first year we went to the Busse dinner and we had a blast! I thought it was a odd coincidence that they gave me this old magazine clipping when we got home. I guess in Busse terms.....That's CRAZY!!!!!!

This add is from a old knife magazine when I was a kid, probably 15-20 years ago...maybe the old Fighting Knives magazine, I am not sure.

Factor in inflation. Someone who's good at math. Factor in inflation. I'd like to know how many of TODAYS DOLLARS these blades would have sold for from that ad.

Steel Heat II - the first Busse I ever bought, in 1994.

Same here, A2. But I had no idea what I had, I just thought it was so cool when it came out on the cover of Tactical knife magazine in 1996? ish. I had to have it. I didn't even know Busse or the company in 1996, but I got the knife. A year and half later I was ordering my SHBM, SHSHII, SHBA and SHMS. Cliff got his SHBM about 5 months before I got mine, which sucked. Then at the California Gun show Lynn Thompson offered to buy my SHBM off me when I told him I had just got it. LOL. After waiting nearly 8 months to get it, no way in hell was I selling it. I told Lynn that if the SHBM was tougher than my older steel heart, his knives didn't have a prayer. I told him that Cliff had one and he was going to test it as was I. Lynn asked if he could send us his knives and I told him sure. So he sent me a TM, Recon Scout and something else. I sent them off to Cliff and he did his magic with them, lol. The Tops guys were there as well, and I got an anaconda from them. Cool guys. Those were fun days.
